Het uiteindelijke doel van dit onderzoek is om huidige antioxidanten\/conserveermiddelen te vervangen door natuurlijke alternatieven. Dit wordt bovendien duurzaam gedaan door deze te rooien bomen een nuttige bestemming te geven.
